About

Welcome to this Gozylim classroom, where we believe every child can learn to read with joy and confidence.

I was homeschooled by my father, a teacher who used simple learning aids: flash cards, counting sticks, and similar tools, to teach my siblings and me to read, write, and understand basic mathematics. Although I was just a learner and did not fully grasp his methods then, as a child, I remember that we all began school at age six and were admitted directly into Elementary One because we could already read and write.

Years later, when I began teaching, I finally understood the effort my father invested in our early learning. Over my nine years of teaching, I have observed that 80–90% of strong readers received some form of homeschooling from parents, guardians, or private tutors. The remaining few are naturally gifted learners who progress with minimal support.

I also identified common reasons why many children struggle to read: Little or no academic support at home. Parents who are willing but unsure how to begin. Parents who try but lack the right methods or resources.

Our mission is to make early learning simple, enjoyable, and achievable for every family.
